Job Description:
STP Web Designer/Developer ? eApp Project
Overview: The STP Program Designer for the eApp Project will be involved in leading technical design and appropriate solutions.
? Act as a resource for technical items for the eApp Project Team
? Drive technical items as assigned by IT PM and Lead Designer
? Work with the STP design team to ensure design standardization for the program, ensure the various STP tracks integrate well, as well as common solutions where possible
? Participate in defining/documenting technical specifications and plans (including development of new workflows, and support of existing established workflows already in production)
? Help define the design process defining/documenting technical specifications and plans.
? Participate in system, integration, performance test planning, and disaster recovery planning
? Assist with Coding and Unit Testing for project deliverables as needed/assigned
? Answer client questions and train/mentor on use of applications

Requirements:
Skills:
? Experience and/or proficiency with Java, XML, FileNet (P8 and Image Services), DB2, WebSphere, WebMethods, Web Services, SQL Server 2005, J2EE, Struts
? Familiarity with Application Development Life-Cycle Methodologies, including system analysis, estimation and testing experience
? Ability to identify and escalate issues appropriately to achieve resolution
? Ability to write clear design and technical specifications, from which code will be developed
? Ability to drive team members to generate options that meet the business requirements within the schedule and budget of the project
? Strong verbal and written communication skills
? Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills at all levels of technical and business customer areas
? Excellent structured programming and debugging skills
? Strong root cause and problem resolution skills
? Ability to learn new systems and technologies quickly Desirable:
? BS or BA degree and minimum 3 years experience in a design role
? Web development experience
? ACORD experience
