Job Description:
Temp needed for a cancer center in a NYC hospital. Position is through the summer.
SKILLS REQUIRED: Medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, ACOS-FORDS coding, Cancer staging (AJCC-TNM, Collaborative and SEER Staging). Working Knowledge of Medical Registry Software. MUST BE NYS CERTIFIED!
DUTIES INCLUDE: reviewing and abstracting information from patient medical records including demographic characteristics, history of neoplasm, diagnostic procedures, final diagnosis stage, extent of disease and treatment.
