We are looking for a Marketing Brand Strategist - Demand Generation. In this role, the Marketing Brand Strategist will assist with the continuous development of Thompson Creek's lead generation strategy by bringing innovation customer attraction ideas to life.

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Continuously improve and implement integrated, cross-channel marketing strategies to drive lead generation.
  • Develop content and messaging for all channels including but not limited to blogs, social media, traditional marketing, digital marketing, press releases, media relations content, and newsletter content to support the overall strategy. Maintain the House Proud content calendar.
  • Monitor and measure ROI of each lead generation activity to inform modification decisions.
  • Test and refine content and messaging based on appropriate analytics and SEO/SEM results.
  • Oversee the entire customer journey, from lead generation to installation and beyond, developing and modifying customer touches to optimize effectiveness and create House Proud customers.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with media and influential professionals that will distribute our message across multiple media outlets and develop our brand awareness.
  • Manage all projects and vendors related to customer-facing messaging activity.
  • Develop and manage a content approval process for external content. Ensure all content is developed with consistent brand messaging and visuals.
  • Represent the company at local events, prepare award applications, and promote the company in the local community. Present event participation opportunities to appropriate leaders; communicate participation company-wide and garner voting support where appropriate.
Qualifications

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Education & Experience: Bachelor's Degree, 5 years' experience in marketing, communications and/or public relations; any equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Tools: Experience with Facebook Business Manager, Google Analytics, AdWords
  • Skills: familiarity with SEO/SEM, email marketing platforms; intermediate skills with website content management/web platforms, excellent oral and written communication skills
