Now's your opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a newly developed internal team tasked with developing compelling creative across various platforms and markets. In this role, you will help define the creative look and feel for a company known worldwide for innovative imaging technology.

Epson's corporate headquarters in Long Beach, CA is looking for a Creative Manager who s both a problem solver and conceptual thinker. You will lead a team of designers and copywriters tasked with transforming business objectives into creative concepts/campaigns that can be successfully implemented across all channels. As a key player in the creative team, you will be pivotal in developing strategies and creative storytelling, as well as providing quality assurance of all creative deliverables and mentoring designers and writers.

Minimum Experience Requirements: Requires experience at an intermediate level (7-10 years)

Education: Completion of an undergraduate program or equivalent experience (B.A., B.S. or B.F.A).

Language: English Required, Spanish (nice to have)

Creative Strategy

  • Brings the Epson brand to life in a cohesive and authentic way, across platforms, with highly innovative and impactful creative that will connect consumers with our brand and deliver measurable business results
  • Develops a strong understanding of Epson s core markets and customers and marries that with best practice design principles to develop compelling creative that resonates with our markets
  • Advocates for and presents creative work to internal stakeholders at all levels of the organization
  • Defines and enforces brand consistency across all of Epson s touch points by enforcing the adoption of graphic, copy and brand guidelines/processes throughout the organization
  • Elevates the visual brand narrative through the use of innovative and compelling imagery
  • Collaborates with external ad agencies in the development and execution of creative campaigns

Creative Group Management

  • Fosters a creative culture by inspiring and mentoring the creative team
  • Regularly facilitates creative brainstorming events and working sessions with the team to develop innovative concepts and keep ideas fresh
  • Manages the workflow of the creative team, combining design/copy best practices with key data to set creative direction and help inform decision-making for the team
  • Works with Traffic Specialist to establish production schedules and ensure projects are completed on time
  • Inspires and leads the copy team to develop engaging messaging that supports our brand, campaigns and products
  • Provides on-going training to staff to develop the team and broaden skill sets

Creative Systems Support

  • Plans/forecasts the group s hardware and software needs for design and project workflow
  • Works with IT regarding disaster recovery and creative server support
  • Oversees the management and distribution of assets, content and collateral
