Job Description:
The SQL Lead Developer?s responsibilities include:
? Understand the project requirements as they relate to the database development ? Work as the SME for database work for the development team ? Carry out database design and various DBA activities for the application development, such as, performance tuning, partitioning, database replication ? Work on Data base Integration needs that involve following :
SSIS as the Integration
Integration with other Client systems, namely, PRS, RTS, HR, Membership Services along with a Generic Integration ability. Multiple formats of data integration and mappings that include upload and generation of Excel spreadsheets, XML data formats and complex data transformations (XSLT)
? Provide direction on database aspects to the team of existing SQL developers and the end user application development team (that is using .Net technology) that includes following:
Direct the team carrying out Reporting development using SSRS ? Provide status to the Technical Lead and/or Project Manager on ongoing basis
? Work collaboratively with other team members
Experience Level:
5+ Years
Requirements:
1) 10 + years of overall SQL database experience
2) SQL Server including SQL 2005 (10 + years)
2) 5+ years of SQL 2005 DBA experience , experienced with below activities Performance Replication Partitioning Data backups and restores Data security Manage db activities for a team of developers SSRS reporting architecture
3) DTS (3+ years), SSIS & SSRS(1+ years)
4) XML , XSLT (2+ years) with EXCEL and other Transfermation (PDF)
EDUCATION >> Bachelor of Science(minimum)
