Reference Number: Job Description: A global engineering, construction and services company This person will oversee a small group of riser engineers. Candidates should be a P.E. and have an advanced technical degree or degrees from a recognized and accredited university and have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the industry on offshore / subsea projects involving pipeline and riser analysis. Candidates should have an intimate knowledge of pipeline and riser design and specifications and should be experienced in the design of corrosion coatings, weight coatings and insulations for these subsea pipeline and riser components. It is a requirement that the candidates are experienced in deep water riser analysis for Steel Catenary Riser (SCR) fatigue analysis involving vortex induced vibration (VIV) analysis and deep water drilling & production riser design and analysis, and are knowledgeable and experienced in the use of industry analytical software that would be used in these analysis (typical examples: Abbacus, Shear 7, Orca Flex, Offpipe, etc.). It would be beneficial if the candidate had personal experience in the fabrication and installation of said systems Experience Level: Requirements: | |
