Job Description:
Technical Architect, Infrastructure NetworksCity Description The Infrastructure Technology Architect is responsible for end-to-end high level technology architecture for projects in the Infrastructure space.

Work ranges from conceptual and strategic to tactical and includes integrating current architectures and initiatives as well as initiating and overseeing the deployment of new information technology architecture projects.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Maintains knowledge of IT infrastructure architecture, standards and practices and consistently applies these standards.
2. Supports the delivery of infrastructure projects for Global IT organizations and provides consultation for impact to business and application portfolios.
3. Ensures alignment to client’s infrastructure architectural standards and strategy.
4. Ensures that the IT architectural standards and practices are followed through project and program involvement.
5. Ensures that infrastructure architectures are flexible and support the business needs by maintaining an understanding of business strategies and infrastructure capabilities.
6. Provides consultation for broad areas of technology.
7. Maintains knowledge of IT infrastructure architecture, standards and practices and consistently applies these standards.
8. Supports the delivery of infrastructure projects for Global IT organizations and provides consultation for impact to business and application portfolios.
9. Ensures alignment to client’s infrastructure architectural standards and strategy.
10. Travel required.
RequirementsEducation:

College degree majors:
• Computer Science
• Engineering
• Information Systems
• Management Information Systems
• Network Technology
• Systems Engineering

Certifications:
• Microsoft MCSA/ MCSE
• Toolset Certifications
• ITIL/ Standards Certification(s)


Experience:

• 8-10 years of experience in related areas including 5 years of experience in
developing and implementing infrastructure architectures for large,
multi-national companies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, Presentation Skills, Problem Solving, client-facing and organizational skills.

Architecture

• Defines and creates standards, guidelines, and quality of service criteria for enabling and implementing architected hardware and software systems.
• Ensures recommended architecture supports rapid application
development and deployment, taking into account the differing evolution
cycles of the applications being deployed.
• Creates and reviews architecture models for business processes and
services
• Leads technical performance assessment of systems, applications and
databases
• Demonstrated track record with architecting enterprise system
architectures with experience in interactive/prototype development
methodologies

• Superior communication skills with the ability to present technical
topics to both “C-Level” clients as well as non-technical audiences and
build partnerships
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous personal improvement of business
and technical skills, including the ability to learn and apply new
