Description: The Senior Manager of Network Services will lead the Network team and be responsible for contributing toward the
design, architecture and Level 4 support of WAN, LAN, DNS, Network
Security, VOIP, Wireless, and network management tools. This
includes planning, specification, implementation, administration and
maintenance of equipment services for all the above responsibilities
in the corporate office and remote sites. The Manager of Network
Services will lead and be responsible for managing Network
Engineering and Network Operations teams.
Responsibilities:
1 Design, architect and provide L4 Support of Cisco-
based Routers, Switches, Gateways, Security Solutions, Wireless
Solutions and Network Management Solutions across WAN/LAN
2 Design, architect and provide L4 Support for network
security functions such as maintain Cisco ACS core environment
3 Provides recommendations on architectural changes
and design enhancements to the infrastructure to improve reliably
and performance, reduce cost, and anticipate Company growth and
acquisition
4 Create / update policies, procedures, and
documentation to adapt to new technologies and business requirements
5 Maintain relationship with telecommunications
carrier representatives for the existing and future network
installations
6 Coordinate and act as liaison with vendors and
business partners of various organizations to procure equipment and
services related to telecommunication systems within the organization
7 Maintain detailed knowledge of company network
standards and the overall local, regional and global network
environments
8 Plan and assist in the design and implementation of
networking infrastructures (cabling, terminations, patch panels)
related to data, voice and video communications
9 Coordinates with communication service providers for
installation, upgrade and disconnect of data and voice circuits and
account management/maintenance agreements This includes review and processing of invoices and correspondence related to data
10 Responsible for managing and maintaining the Wide Area
and Local Area Networks proper capacity and scalability
11 Responsible of configuring and maintaining a proactive
Network Monitoring System leveraging existing tools in order to
maintain and track Networks important metrics
12 Performs ongoing network fine tuning, upgrades and
enhances to optimize Network performance, availability, stability
and security
13 Responsible for performing frequent Network Trending &
Analysis and make recommendations and changes accordingly to
maximize performance and minimize costs
14 Exceed Customer Expectations
Qualifications:
** 5-10 years of networking experience
** 3-5 years of managing and leading a team of network
engineers
** Certifications in: Cisco CCNP is a must, CCVP and
CCIE R&S highly desired
** Cisco Switch, Router, and Load Balancing Equipment,
Cisco Pix Firewall, Cisco VPN Concentrator, Cisco Call Manager and
Cisco Unity, SNMP network management, highly desirable
** Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP-4), MPLS, WAN circuit
experience is a must
** Experience in a very wide range of leading edge and
traditional network and IP Telephony technologies
** Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Visio and
Microsoft Project preferred
** Wide breadth of hands-on networking and project
management skills
** Knowledge of Cisco ACS server and triple A
(Authentication, Authorization and Access)
** Knowledge of Cisco IPS **Intrusion Prevention**
** Knowledge of Cisco SAFE framework is a plus
** IP-4 / IP-6 knowledge is a plus
** Knowledge of Unicast and Multicast is a plus
** Knowledge of SIP is a plus
** Knowledge of VPN tunneling and IPsec is a plus
** Experience in WAN MPLS deployments is preferred
** Experience in VOIP deployments is a plus
** Microsoft Windows 2003 (Active Directory, DNS,
DHCP, Cluster, IIS and SQL) knowledge is a plus
** CCSP, CISSP, or INFOSEC is a plus
