Reference Number: Job Description: The Director of Marketing is responsible for developing and executing the marketing strategy as well as overseeing the development and coordination of marketing programs, communication campaigns, branding, web strategy and trade show management. He/She works closely with sales team and external vendors in driving sales for all products, reinforcing the company and brand image, and developing the company’s marketing & sales support materials. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The Director of Marketing will supervise the brand management, market research and industrial design groups as well as outside vendors and consultants engaged to support the marketing initiatives. Reports to COO & CFO. Works closely with all internal departments as well as external clients and vendors. The minimum qualifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability required for an individual to perform at a satisfactory level. Reasonable training is provided. Education: Preferably MBA and a Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, English or similar degree, and/or equivalent experience. Experience 7-10 years of Marketing Experience. Experience in designing, development and production of product catalogs in multiple lines- Experience developing and implementing a market strategy in the Consumer Electronics Industry . Very Knowledgeable of the Apple Accessories (iphone, ipod .), FM Transmitter, Personal Audio, Mobile Phone markets . Experience with US and International channels - especially big box and large distributor channels . Relationship management skills . Presentation skills both internally/externally . Ability to interact with senior staff . Experience maintaining budgets and forecasting product needs . Strong writing and communication skills . Detail oriented and organized . A master multi-tasker . Ability to flourish in a fast paced environment. World-renowned skincare company also seeks a dynamic, seasoned Direct Response Marketing professional with extensive DRTV experience to head up its Direct Marketing Acquisitions initiatives. Ideal candidate will have extensive production and campaign management experience and will understand how to bring a personal care product to market. This position will be responsible for strengthening the company’s existing direct marketing resources and infrastructure, reorganize all processes where necessary to ensure optimal performance and develop programs and strategies to grow the Direct customer database and increase revenues and profits. 1.
