Key responsibilities will include development, review, and roll out of clinical policies and education materials; implementation and monitoring of plans to meet facility goals; and sharing best practices that support quality management programs. Additional duties may include assisting in preceptor training programs and training teammates, management, and patients. Prefer 5 years dialysis experience. - Graduate of an accredited nursing degree program; bachelors degree preferred OR 2-4 year degree in a related field with equivalent experience
- Current RN license in the state of practice strongly preferred
- Minimum of three years (five years preferred) of nephrology experience
- Experience in CQI methodology and techniques
- Flexibility in scheduling and ability to travel
- Experience in teaching the adult learner strongly preferred with demonstrated ability to communicate technical/medical information in lay terms as necessary
- Computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Internet knowledge
- CNN or CDN, Bonent certification within two years of employment desired
