Reference Number: Job Description: Position Summary *****Pre-Sales Experience is a Must!***** Primary responsibilities include engineering, installing and troubleshooting data and telecommunications network infrastructure for Pomeroy customers. Additional requirements include creating and updating network documentation, network assessments and reporting results. This position will work closely with other members of the Pomeroy internetworking team to support the overall mission of the company and its’ strategic business initiatives. Qualifications Education:Required-Associates’ degree in Information Systems / Computer Science or equivalent technical training. CCNP certification required, Cisco IP Telephony Specialist preferred, CCVP, CCSP preferred. Experience Minimum of four years experience working in Information Systems. Minimum of 2 years experience with Cisco routing, switching and wireless products.q Minimum of 2 years experience supporting frame-relay or equivalent packet switched technologies. Minimum of 1 years experience with Cisco PIX firewalls, Cisco Works, Cisco VPN Concentrator, Cisco 802.11a/b/g wireless solutions. Minimum of 1 year experience installing and advanced configuration on Cisco Callmanager platforms. Minimum of 1 year experience configuring and troubleshooting VOIP Trunks and VOIP Gateways. Minimum of 1 year experience with Cisco Unified Messaging. Additional Requirements Experience with RADIUS and TACACS authentication services. Experience with Cisco IPCC configuration and script configuration Experience with static and dynamic routing protocols i.e., OSPF, EIGRP. Experience with WAN QOS solutions. Experience with H.323 Gateways, Voice Routing Protocols, Voice Gateways, SRST, and Voice QOS. Experience with Traditional/Legacy PBXs (Nortel, Avaya, Siemens, etc.) and call centers a plus. Experience with LAN and WAN packet analyzers. Experience with DNS, DHCP, WINS and HSRP. Experience with Internet architecture and BGP routing protocol. Experience with intrusion detection solutions. Extensive knowledge of 100/1000 base Ethernet and virtual local area networks. High proficiency with the TCP/IP protocol, VLSM and route summarization. Primary Duties and Responsibilities Maintain and install Cisco network equipment. Maintain and install Cisco Callmanager, Unity, and associated Voice Applications. IP Telephony systems administration, configuration, and implementation. Maintain documentation related to network layout. Maintain security policies on Cisco firewall solutions.
