Job Description:

Assist the government by providing expert research and analysis to support the identification, development, and fielding of new capabilities for Army combat units and staffs. Lead or support efforts to research, analyze, and develop new and existing concepts and training for the Armys Base Expeditionary Targeting Surveillance System - Combined (BETSS-C) project. Emphasize training development and implementation and provide analyses to span the spectrum of doctrine, organization, training, materiel, leader development and education, personnel, and facilities (DOTMLPF). Serve as the lead to development and write AWD directed documents and actions, as necessary, including Training Concepts and DOTMLPF assessments of proposed solutions. Monitor and contribute to related efforts occurring at other locations within Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC). Participate in BETSS-C unit training efforts, interface with military and government service personnel on a daily basis, and other contractors who are working related issues in support of Army combat units. This position will require travel of up to 15% of the time to various US Army installations and to attend periodic conferences in support of these efforts.

 

Basic Qualifications: -20+ years of experience with active military service at the Major level or above in the US Army in combat arms units, as an officer in the US Marine Corps, a government civilian in grade GS-13 or higher, or time as a defense consultant -3+ years of experience at the Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC), preferably in training development, concept development, experimentation, or doctrine development. -Ability to prepare products for and delivering them at the colonel and general officer levels -Ability to show participation in a major deployment of US Army forces, including Iraq, Afghanistan, Balkans, or Somalia -Secret clearance -BA required   Additional Qualifications:  -Top Secret clearance -MA or MS degree preferred -Graduate of the Army War College, the School of Advanced Military Studies (SAMS), or other service equivalents   Clearance: Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.   Integrating the full range of consulting capabilities, Booz Allen is the one firm that helps clients solve their toughest problems, working by their side to help them achieve their missions.
