The ISD Cyber & SIGINT Systems Business Unit is seeking a Mission Assurance Project Lead with a background of increasing responsibility in program execution, mission/quality assurance, systems engineering, and process improvement. The candidate selected will lead other Mission/Quality Assurance staff to establish, monitor, and improve program elements that assure execution on commitments and customer satisfaction. The MA Project Lead will coordinate and lead a staff of MA Engineers, Software and Hardware Quality Engineers in support of intelligence community programs. This is a leadership development position with a unique opportunity to demonstrate leadership by working as the Trusted Wingman to the PM; providing independent assessments of the projects health, risk, and status. This position will manage annual MA program plans, goals, metrics, spend plans, and schedules. The MA Project Lead will ensure compliance with all MA related contractual requirements, division policies and procedures, while contributing to the projects process implementation and process effectiveness. The successful candidate will demonstrate ability to lead, coordinate, and conduct: independent assessments of project and supplier risks, process and product audits, supplier assurance, software and hardware quality engineering activities, test requirements, test verification, participation in the peer review of software development and test, hardware inspections (e.g. COTS hardware, racks, cabling, electronic assemblies, etc.), hardware configuration verification, and assurance of contract and policy requirement. The successful candidate will have demonstrable leadership abilities and will possess excellent decision making capabilities, communication skills, and the ability to work closely and effectively with project personnel. The following are the Basic Qualifications for the position: Record of increasing responsibility supporting programs that provided integrated systems development, I&T. Hardware systems development, I&T and/or software engineering processes, software development, and software test Knowledge of quality systems standards (ISO/AS9100 and CMMI). Experienced quality systems auditor (ISO/AS9100)/ assessor (CMMI). Ability to obtain DoD Top Secret / SSBI clearance. Bachelors Degree and 10 years related experience. Experience in the following areas is an asset: Lean Six Sigma training; Certified ASQ CQE, CSQE; Certified PMP; CMMI Lead Assessor; AS9100 Lead Auditor; working knowledge of Mission Systems policies and the PRA process. Recent SSBI preferred. Record of increasing responsibility supporting programs that provided integrated systems development, I&T. Hardware systems development, I&T and/or software engineering processes, software development, and software test. Knowledge of quality systems standards (ISO/AS9100 and CMMI). Experienced quality systems auditor (ISO/AS9100)/ assessor (CMMI). Ability to obtain DoD Top Secret SSBI clearance. Certified PMP, Certified ASQ CQE, CMMI Lead Assessor ISO/AS9100 Lead Auditor, Expert knowledge of Software Product development methodologies and practices Current TS/SSBI clearance.
