Reference Number: lddr1955379 Job Description: Job Code:  RFCD09091019       Job Description:   The Major Account Manager is responsible for the identification and attainment of business within the U.S. Army for Radio Communications Products/Systems. In performance of these duties the Account Manger responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Analysis of existing and anticipated customer requirements and promotes consideration of company products and services to fill such requirements. Participation in the preparation of sales plans, business plans, and product development plans Prepares and conducts sales presentations Manage sales proposal budgets and orders forecast Ability to lead cross functional team in pursuit of major business opportunities Maintains technical proficiency and consults with prospective customers regarding use of company products and services Quotes prices and delivery date and demonstrates and provides instruction on the use of products Keeps informed of new products and other information of interest to customers Investigates new applications or improvements to products Provides marketing intelligence to sales management and may participate in the development of sales forecasts and strategies.     Qualifications:            Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or engineering required. 10 years sales experience 5 years of directly related JTRS or Army Communications experience Willing and able to travel approximately 30% Ability to obtain Secret Security Clearance     Preferred Additional Skills:   MBA Preferred     Please be aware that many of our positions require a security clearance, or the ability to obtain one.  Security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens.  In addition, applicants who accept a conditional offer of employment may be subject to government security investigation(s) and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.     By submitting your résumé for this position, you understand and agree that Harris Corporation may share your résumé, as well as any other related personal information or documentation you provide, with its subsidiaries and affiliated companies for the purpose of considering you for other available positions.
