Honeywell Building Solutions is looking for a Branch Manager to lead a dynamic team of individuals.  If you have worked with construction for HVAC, Security, and Fire Alarm Systems and have been a Sales manager in the past and are interested in living in the Anchorage, Alaska area we would like to speak with you!


 


 


 


We are looking for a Branch Manager who will grow our market share and the team to expand our market share in the Alaska market place. This is an outstanding opportunity for business leader with a record of accomplishment in the building automation, or energy management, industry. If you have sold HVAC or Fire systems, developed a team, established business plans, overseen internal processes, managed Profit and Loss statements while inspiring and leading a multifunctional team focusing on customer solutions we would like to speak with you!


 


 


 


As the Branch Manager you will:


 


 


 


 


 





  • Report to the Northwest District General Manager, with support from the district and regional staff, to ensure 100% customer satisfaction, sales orders and profitable growth, and achieve all operational metrics.



  • Be Responsible for the P/L



  • Provide leadership to the sales, delivery and service functions



  • Drive ownership for growth, sales plans, customers satisfaction and implementation and delivery of business plans and results



  • Coordinate resources to appropriately balance strategic objectives with financial return (profit) and efficient use of financial assets (including working capital);



  • Maximize market penetration of install and service offerings through aggressive and prudent utilization of all channels of distribution, including approved contractor partners;



  • Implement business management practices and policies to ensure that appropriate process and audit controls are in place.



  • Integrate and focus all resources in the branch to ensure maximum customer satisfaction; ultimately responsible for resolving customer issues



  • Participates in key customer visits/sales calls



  • Develop the skills and competencies of branch employees (15 plus employees) and overall capability of the branch to meet business objectives



  • Make employment decisions, provides performance coaching and management, annual reviews, and compensation recommendations.



  • Travel 50% of the time in the Alaska area



  • Drive change and accountability



  • Assist with selling large commercial and integrated systems to the Military as target market.




 


 


 


Basic Qualifications:


 


 


 





  • · 5 years experience in the building and automation or construction industry



  • · 5 years experience selling in the Controls and HVAC  industry



  • · 3 years experience managing teams in the building and automation or construction industry




 


 


 


 


 


Additionally desired:


 


 


 





  • Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record



  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time



  • Strong understanding of sales process



  • Some branch management and operations experience preferred



  • Knowledge of building automation and system integration



  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills



  • Six Sigma certified



  • Strong communication and coaching skills



  • Strong Leadership skills



  • Experience selling to the Military (Army and Air force)
