Position Summary
Duties would include defining project criteria, site investigation and project scope development, performing design activities including calculations, equipment selection, cost estimating and specification preparation. Coordination of design activities between project team Architects, Engineers, Designers and Drafters is essential. Strong management and client interface skills a plus.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Project Engineer with mechanical HVAC and plumbing design experience.
Energy modeling experience, MicroStation and post Department of Defense project experience preferred. LEED AP and Trace 700 (or equal) a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Commercial HVAC and MEP design engineering experience.
Minimum Education and Experience
Bachelors Degree
5+ years experience as an HVAC Design Engineer
Professional Registration
Travel: Some travel required. Approx 5-6 days a month
