-- Analyze, develop, implement, maintain, and modify computer operations, systems, networks, databases, applications, and/or information security depending on the needs of the National Guard -- Perform professional-grade work in the analysis, enhancement, diagnosis, maintenance, and installation of application-independent hardware and/or software components of one or more information systems including client workstations and servers -- Work with systems that involve multi-user and multi-tasking capabilities -- Work on solving system problems that tend to be of a recurring nature and where solutions are derived through the application of standard professional practices and procedures -- Recommend equipment configurations, and associated software, and communicate with vendor technical support -- Perform routine system maintenance such as installing vendor supplied changes, backing up and restoring systems and files, monitoring directory services, logging changes, and updating documentation; and implementing monitoring. -- Design directory services, recommend distributed services methodologies, administer data storage networks, configure primary and secondary authentication, monitor device capacity, and perform basic troubleshooting of network devices using limited administrative access. -- Analyze user requirements and development and implementation of computer based solutions -- Identify user requirements, coding, development, and implementation of computer based solutions, problem analysis and implementation of a solution in situations of moderate difficulty -- Develop a detailed plan for problem segmentation and inter-module linkage and implement individual components -- Determining project objectives by analyzing user needs, and the nature and sequence of the tasks that must be implemented in order to produce a solution. -- Demonstrated experience and the ability to prepare system, user, operations and technical data processing documentation. Documentation shall include, but not be limited to: Narratives, Flowcharts, Procedure guides, Network diagrams, Hardware configuration diagrams, User manuals; and Other illustrations.
Requires BS/BA degree.
Requires 8-10 years experience. MS Server 2003/2008 Administration; MS Server 2003/2008 Clustering; and MS Server Network Administration. MS SharePoint Server 2007 Client-Side Applications experience with Word, Outlook and Excel .NET Framework to include .NET 2.0 and ASP.NET 2.0 Large-scale .NET applications Database Extract, Transform and Load (ETL) implementations Microsoft or third-party certifications Microsoft Windows Server 2003/2008 installation and configuration Microsoft SQL Server 2005 and/or 2008 installation, configuration, and clustering Terminal Services Terminal License Servers Majority Node Clusters Network Load Balanced Clusters Failover Clusters Active Director EMC Storage Area Network (SAN) subsystem configuration and management HyperText Modeling Language (HTML) Training Development and delivery
