Technical Sales Specialist Requisition 69018 Category Information Technology Business Physio-Control Division Physio-Control Location USA-WA-Redmond Relocation Relocation eligibility to be determined Job Type Full Time - Regular Exempt/Non-Exempt Exempt Shift First Travel Percentage 10 - 20% Experience Required 4 years Education Required Bachelors Degree Medtronic is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer Position Description The Sr. LIFENET SMART Services Systems Analyst is chartered with working directly with some of the technical customer stakeholders in solutions architecture and security assessments to make sure that the product will meet the customers needs. In addition, this position is heavily involved with post "Go Live" Support activities. Position Responsibilities . Primary: Working directly with customers, create a solution that meets customer needs. . Primary: Work closely with the LIFENET Implementation team for a smooth transition of the LIFENET system from sale to "Go-Live". . Primary: Position the product offering within an account to provide the greatest value for customers and revenue for Physio-Control. Achieve the revenue targets within a specified region. . Primary: After the customer is "Live", work as part of the SMART Desk Team to answer any customer questions / inquiries. . Secondary: Develop and maintain strong relationships with account representatives, field management, and the LIFENET implementation teams that enable the collaborative efforts to be utilized to close implementation phases and move customers to final "Go-Live" and closure. . Secondary: Observe, monitor and report changes in key opportunity parameters by working with the LIFENET Sales team. . Secondary: Attend trade shows and management meetings as needed. . Secondary: Other related duties as assigned. Basic Qualifications . B.S. Engineering and/or Technology Management required. . 4-7 years of successful Sales Application Engineering or Customer support of a technical product; leveraging technology and business systems to produce customer value. . Demonstrated experience in working directly with customers in the pre-sales process to define an appropriate solution to meet their IT needs. . Demonstrated capability and knowledge of IT Systems, Security requirements and Communication systems. . Demonstrated working knowledge of complex, technical products and systems. . Demonstrated excellent presentations skills. . Strong written and verbal communication skills. Desired/Preferred Qualifications . Background in healthcare; implementing/using enterprise wide clinical solutions . Background in solutions architecture . Knowledge and ability to navigate organizations effectively . Demonstrated experience and ability to influence and obtain results through others . Possess a strong commitment to company values . Ability to transfer working activities into department or group processes Physical Job Requirements . Reports to LIFENET Affiliate / SMART Desk Manager . Communication / Telephone Support: 75% of time could be spent discussing options with customers . Some travel required: 20% . Ability to work in a dynamic, complex environment
