As a Patient Service Technician, you will: *Interacts with patients, family, caregiver, clinical directors, etc. in a manner conducive to continued positive relationships. Displays patience, courtesy and tack. *Makes deliveries, pick-ups and complete equipment set-ups in a timely professional manner. *Reports and follows-up on identified concerns and quality of care/service issues, to the appropriate individuals. *Maintains proper inventories in vehicles as applicable: Ensures that sufficient supplies are stocked at all times and routinely inspects for outdated merchandise. *Works in collaboration with clinical/technical staff in developing appropriate delivery and/or pick up of equipment, supplies and/or medications. *Ensures that storage conditions during the storage and delivery process (including the patient's home) are consistent with the recommendations for storage of the product and expiration dating. *Maintains maintenance record and performs weekly checks to ensure safety of company vehicles. *Participates in inventory control as required by the purchasing process and within the business plan guidelines from the location Branch Director. *Complete Route Log and turns in timely with accurate data. *Responsible for removing biohazard waste from patient's home to warehouse meeting OSHA requirements. *Consults with the staff clinicians and directors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of supplies and/or equipment. *Rotate with department for weekend, holiday and on call as needed. *Assists in identifying medical supplies and equipment necessary to comply with OSHA guidelines, as well as special clinical needs.
