Requisition Number 09-1245 Date Posted 11/06/2009 Title Branch Operations Specialist City Lockport Description This successful employee is responsible for servicing the operational needs of the branches across all regions. Responsibilities: 1. Field and answer questions from the branch network on a variety of questions. 2. Identify and address process improvements to enhance operational efficiencies by identifying processes and educational materials that will reduce questions, errors and ultimately mitigate risk to the Branches. 3. Develop, review and facilitate modification of Consumer Banking operational procedures and documents to accommodate compliance issues, as well as products and/or services for a growing network of Branches. 4. Works with Branch Operations [Policy & Procedure Unit] to ensure that operations memos are properly interpreted and applied. Responsible for preparing Consumer Banking operational documentation. 5. Work with Branch Operations [Policy & Procedure Unit] to ensure that bank policies and procedures are up-to-date. 6. Works collaboratively with the Branch Operations team and branches to arrive at a sound, win-win decision. 7. Manage day-to-day workload as well as project assignments. 8. Act as a key contact for all Branches within FNFG by acting as legal contact- identifying specific concerns of an issue and reviewing the issue(s) with the attorneys. Once addressed relay the information back to the Branches. 9. Function as a Consumer Banking representative on key related teams and committees. 10. Assist Deposit Product Development with the implementation or improvement of products to insure compliance and appropriate training of Consumer Banking staff to facilitate a smooth roll out. 11. Assist in product development. 12. Coordinate 3rd party relationships with respect to branch services. 13. Ability to coordinate company wide projects crossing various job levels and functions. Requirements -Associate's degree or equivalent -Minimum of 5 years in operations in a retail bank environment. Some management experience preferred. -Thorough and strong knowledge of branch operations, compliance and regulatory requirements, audits and teller operations. -Knowledge of bank products, services, policies and procedures for banking products -Prior experience with high volume workload with varying priorities. -Prior demonstration of being a highly motivated, a self-starter -Prior demonstration of having worked independently.
