Job Description:
* Responsible for leading the design and development of software for SW defined radio products.
* Responsible for all phases of the product development including requirement identification, design, test and product support.
* Requires the application of the principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
* Analyzes software requirements to determine feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
* Consults with electrical or mechanical engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interface between hardware and software, and operational performance requirements of the overall system.
* Develops and directs software system testing procedures, programming and documentation.
Qualifications:
* BS Degree in Computer Enginering or Electrical Engineering.
* 7+ years experience with software development process is required.
* 5+ years experience with C/C++ programming language is required.
* 5+ years experience with design, implementation and test of digital signal processing control software as well as development of DSP algorithms.
Preferred Additional Skils:
* Must be able to quickly familiarize self with and modify existing software to add new capabilities.
* Experience with Land Mobile Radio desired.
* Detailed DSP experience including development of DSP algorithms is a plus.
* TI DSP experience is a plus.
