Description:
Retrofit management position supporting the HALE Integrated Product Teams (IPT) to continually upgrade the weapon system, improving its capabilities, and supportability. Work closely with customer, suppliers and IPTs as the Product Support technical representative to ensure technical statements of work are supportable and sustainable. Successful candidate will also be responsible to work with other affected Product Support groups developing their statements of work and be responsible for reviewing proposed modifications and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) cost and effort to ensure all logistics elements are captured. Additionally, the successful candidate will work closely with customer, repair and asset managers to ensure critical requirements are addressed. The successful candidate will also prepare technical papers and accompanying status briefings for presentation to the customer personnel. Travel to field, depot and weapon system manager locations is expected. Position requires excellent written and oral communication skills with demonstrated experience briefing military and government personnel. Secret clearance with the ability to obtain to Special Access clearances is required. Candidate must be skilled in the use of MS Office suite. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor of Science degree and minimum 14 years relevant experience (12 years with Masters; 9 years with PhD). Project Engineering experience and knowledge of change and proposal processes are required. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Science, or other technical field preferred plus an understanding of technical principles, theories, and concepts in the field of logistics engineering. Experience with international support requirements, such as EuroHawk and NATO AGS, a plus. Experience with US Air Force Technical Publications, Time Change Technical Order (TCTO) process and procedures or equivalent service system and MS Project is also desirable. Security Clearance Required.
