Reference Number: MCO1404Car Job Description: Position Description: GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: This person work in one of three Mediacom locations. FORT DODGE, RED OAK , OR CARROLL IOWA. Responsible for obtaining new MDU accounts, and identifying all new development complexes when they are built and become available in Rural Area West and South of Des Moines (Carroll-Red Oak or Fort Dodge). Obtaining and renewing ROE s (Right of Entries) in our MDU complexes and maintain good relations with existing MDU accounts as well as commercial business. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: -Meet with multiple dwelling units, apartments, local businesses, colleges, hotels, etc. and secure contracts for all areas of service (cable, digital and internet.) -Prepares and initiates proposals to new and existing MDU/Commercial accounts. -Ensures that accounts acquired receive the best possible customer service after the sale is made. -Compiles and examines all MDU account records to assure timely renegotiation to subscription rates. -With the assistance of the Technical Operation Manager, ensures that projects are built on a timely basis, expediting those with favorable payback, whenever possible. -Prepares and forwards various progress reports to the appropriate manager. -Other functions that may be assigned. Position Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent PREFERRED EXPERIENCE SKILLS: Good written and oral communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required Experience Level: Unspecified Requirements:
